Historic Boulder Kitchen Remodel

This is a Historic Boulder Home on the Colorado Registry. The customer wanted a kitchen that would fit with both the old and the new parts of the home. The simple shaker doors and the bright brass hardware pick up the old, while the clean lines and large functioning island bring in the new!

Muted blue painted cabinets with gold accents

The use of space in this kitchen makes it work very well as you can see. The built in cookbook shelving is a delight to all home chefs. The cabinets are Crystal Encore (frameless) with Shaker doors and 5 piece drawer fronts. This Boulder kitchen is designed in the craftsman style.

The custom color blue paint brightens the kitchen and is one of the most dynamic parts of the kitchen. The true marble counters and old-world bright brass hardware bring back the history of the home.

The under-mount porcelain sink with drainboard cut into the counter makes cleanup a breeze. The countertops are True Carrera Marble and walnut butcher block.

The double oven wolf red knob gas range and blue paneled Sub Zero Refrigerator give this historic Boulder kitchen a beauty that is unparalleled and also provides spectacular functionality.

Let’s just pause a moment and imagine how you could use a wall of Crystal Cabinets like this. The wood accentuates the blue painted cabinets and highlights the bright brass hardware.

In island seating is one of the most requested features of any kitchen remodel. Not only is this a space for eating but doing homework, talking about the day and in these days perhaps working from home.
