Brittany is from West Memphis, Arkansas, and has lived in Colorado since 2009. All her life she has fostered many animals and has rehabilitated and found them forever homes. She began learning about Interior Design after repurposing furniture 6 years before became inspired to go to Interior Design school. Both of her sons have Autism, and she quickly realized the psychological impact design has. It became imperative for her to learn more and ultimately attended Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs for Interior Design in 2019.

“There are many rules, principles, elements, codes, and standards of a design. However, there is a creative side to it, too. I love the psychological effects of Interior Design. I have studied how we interact in our environment and how our environment impacts our psyche. Creating a space that is functional and beautiful brings me great happiness and satisfaction in life. Every design is like a puzzle with many fine details. I love it because it keeps me on my toes! Getting to know the Client allows me to truly tune into their needs and desires. Each client is unique and important to me. The heart of the home is the Kitchen. We all gather here, and it should tailor to our needs daily. When we have a space that is functional and evokes the desired emotions, we find that our daily stressors are reduced. I take pride in my 3D realistic renderings to assist my clients in the visualization of their space. The technology that we have access to is beneficial to our clients and especially the ones who cannot visualize as easily as others. It is exciting to see the process from start to finish and to see the complete satisfaction when the project comes to an end.”

When she is not designing, you can find her partaking in the many outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer. Some of her favorites are snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking with her longhaired dachshund, Copper, AKA her “Mountain Dog”.
