Dear JM Kitchen & Bath
Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of working with your firm and your talented designer, Paul Preister. I met Paul through a mutual friend whose kitchen your firm remodeled with Paul's design expertise and direction. The moment I walked into that kitchen, I knew I had found the person who could help me execute my client's dreams. Paul is extremely creative and knowledgeable, as well as proactive, on-the-job and personable. I can't say enough good things about Paul, my clients feel the same.
Now it is my turn for a kitchen and bath remodel and of course I turned to Paul. He took my drawings and ideas and turned them into a 10 page detailed budget, 40 pages of detailed drawings and work orders for the general contractor and 75 ages of product specifications. As all of our dream projects cost more than we like, he has worked endlessly to help me revise to find ways to save. I know he will be right there with me every step of the way during the remodel and will follow through with "issues" that come up on the job.

My wife and I recently purchased a kitchen and bathroom remodel on the main level of our home from your company back in April of 2009. The install was complete in June. We wanted to express to you our delight and pleasure in working with Teresa Martin. Teresa began working with us shortly after we contacted JM as we began the discovery process of a remodel. That process started late last year. As we began working with Teresa, the state of the economy was a concern for us due to the high cost of a remodel. We told her up front, we did not have a specific timeframe for moving forward with the remodel but did want to pursue a design layout and price. This did not discourage her in anyway from working with us. She provided us with a computer designed model for our kitchen and bath. As I understand it, creating a kitchen design on the computer takes a significant amount of time. She also provided us with several options and ideas along with pricing. She was always very responsive to our questions and inquiries as though a signing was imminent. However, we never felt pressure from her to sign by a certain date. That alone was a very refreshing experience!!!
Because of Teresa’s knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, positive attitude, and great personality, we had no doubt that when we did decide to "pull the trigger", we were going to go with JM Kitchen and Bath, due to the great (pre-sales) service we received (from Teresa). This may have even sped up our decision making process. Even during the install, when we had issues, she was quick to respond and got them resolved in a timely manner. Really, one of the best salespeople we have had the pleasure of working with!! I also wanted to mention that Chad (our installer) was excellent and a pleasure to work with as well. The kitchen looks fantastic and we could not be happier with our first experience with JM Kitchen and Bath. We will have no problem recommending your company and Teresa to anyone we know who is looking to do a kitchen and/or bathroom remodel. Feel free to use us as a customer reference anytime!!!

Now that the kitchen is done I want to thank you and the whole team at JM Kitchen and Bath for all the hard work. Your company slogan on the side of the van “You’re going to love your kitchen” is exactly how we feel.
Everybody who comes to see our remodel has the same reaction, WOW! The level of design and implementation on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 10+ and only could be achieved through a company who is committed to getting it perfect.
Many of our friends have remodeled their kitchens as well and I almost feel bad because ours turned out …. I hate to say it, better. Their response is, I wish I would have thought of that, or this was finished to so much of a higher standard.
If you have a potential customer who is very picky or demanding please have them call me. If they fit this profile I believe that you would be the only option for them.
Please thank the whole team for me, they all played a role in our satisfaction. Jeff and Clint went above and beyond the call of duty and made many trips by to make sure things were perfect down to the last detail.

The thing that separated JM Kitchens from the rest of the companies we interviewed was you. You are very knowledgeable about your product and very professional; you instill a level of confidence in the potential client that other companies couldn't do. You listened to our requests, and when you knew we were "off base" on what we wanted, you diplomatically explained why it wouldn't work but offered fabulous compromises. Even though our contract is signed, you are still very attentive and prompt to return emails and phone calls to answer questions. JM advertises "personal professional project management", you epitomize that claim.
The Omega cabinets are far superior to any other products we looked at, the selection is wonderful, and the price very comparable. We are very satisfied with our decision to have JM remodel our kitchen, and we feel lucky to have you involved in our project.

Your customer service was unmatched by any other company I have ever worked with on a kitchen. Everything was great—not one complaint. Also, I am thrilled with the quality of the cabinets. We went with your company because of your flexibility. If we wanted to have you do everything, you would do that; or if we wanted to choose our products at other places, we can do that too. You left it up to the customer to decide how much shopping around we want to do. The other thing that separates you from all the big box stores is that you have contractors with fair prices. The other places wanted almost as much for their labor as we will be spending for the whole bathroom!

Thanks to Paul for helping us think of all the details during the planning process. I felt confident with your questions and advice even though we really hadn’t done a lot of prior research. That’s what we wanted to pay the professionals to do and it worked! You helped us think of options and we wouldn’t have otherwise –under cabinet lighting, for example. That could be one of our favorite features! One idea we missed though would have been an electrical outlet inside the appliance garage. Oh well.

Many thanks to you and J.M. Woodworks, Inc. for our beautiful kitchen and wet bar remodel! Everyone that sees our kitchen loves it and asked who did the work. I am always happy to give them your name. The whole process went very smoothly from start to finish. When you first came to our home to measure for the new cabinets, you listened to our concerns and were able to design a plan to fit our needs. Having a drawing to see how it all would look was very helpful. We appreciated your attention to detail. Discussing each cabinet on the plan, one by one, ensured that all things were considered before ordering. An added convenience was being able to order the granite countertop and stainless steel sink from J.M. Woodworks, as well as the cabinets. We were very pleased with the prices. J.M. Woodworks estimate was considerably less other bids we received.
The cabinets arrived on schedule. Only one door was damaged in shipment and one roll-out drawer was missing. Both arrived and were installed one week later. Barry did a wonderful job installing the cabinets. Since it was a remodel, we had some electrical and gas line changes. These changes needed to take place after the demolition but before some of the cabinets were installed. The timing was a little tricky. Barry and the electrician had to work together, yet not get in each other's way. The electrician told me that Barry was one of the nicest and most accommodating tradesmen he had ever worked with. I'd have to agree. Also, Barry was able to meet the challenges of our 30 year-old home where the walls are not square and floors are not level. He came up with some creative solutions to made it all work.
Jeff was able to schedule the granite installation the same week the cabinets were installed. The new kitchen was up and running in one week. The granite is truly gorgeous. The granite countertop fits like a glove and the seams are barely noticeable. Your attention to detail in measuring, planning for seam placement and considering grain direction for all the granite pieces contributed to the beautiful installation.
It was a pleasure working with you and everyone at J.M Woodworks. I would be happy to be included as a reference. Please feel free to have any of your prospective customers give me a call.
